TOYOTA IMAGE II LED LIGHTING PROGRAM

For over 7 years the Lighting Precision team has been instrumental in developing and implementing Toyota's LED lighting strategy & guidelines for new construction and upgrade lighting projects across the country.

  • For the Dealer. This program is designed for and benefits the Dealer only. The AOR, MEP, GC, and EC, and the Regional reps, receive no real intrinsic value from the Program. So first and foremost the commitment of the Dealer is essential to a successful program, then all other entities can work together towards a successful design and implementation.


  • Design to Spec. If there is a joint commitment from TMNA/Gensler/Dealer to hold all other lighting proposals accountable for design, performance, warranty and general quality, the pricing and value of the final product will become obvious.


  • Toyota’s Image. The LED program is an addition to the Image program that TMNA has made available to the Dealer group to participate in. In designing this program special attention and consideration to the Toyota Image has been adhered to with guidance and input from TMNA and Gensler, helping to eliminate the inconsistencies in the final lighting image.


  • Uniformity.   Uniformity of lighting across all Dealerships, as with the entire Image program, has become a focus by TMNA to be addressed with this LED program.  While uniformity is key, the program needs to remain adaptable as new technology, changing lighting landscape, access, and other challenges develop.


  • National Program Pricing. This allows the program to not only have an impact with the individual dealer but an even larger impact with the National Dealer groups.  This allows the program to handle pricing for multiple dealerships the same nationally in all 50 states.  This eliminates the Dealer groups having to deal with a myriad of local companies with multiple pricing structures, design inputs, and distribution channels.


  • Warranty.  As a major part of the program the negotiated special warranty for TMNA is a key element in assuring the Toyota dealers that not only is the initial product an excellent design but also adds the security of the very best warranty in the industry.  


  • Project Management throughout total process.  With most lighting projects once the product is delivered to the jobsite for new construction the lighting company is done. Manufacturer errors or incorrectly shipped, damaged or otherwise inoperable fixtures become the responsibility of the installer or EC. With this Program, LP maintains the responsibility to the Dealer throughout the entire process from design to warranty claims. 


  • Streamlined Sales Procurement.  In partnership with CED Automotive,  established  “Factory Direct Relationships” with the manufacturers.  All mid-level local, factory Representatives, Distributors and agents along with their associated mark-ups have been eliminated. This also allows the Dealer to be isolated from the restrictions of territories and existing deals between reps and distributors.


  • Utility & Federal Tax Incentive Capture.  A huge advantage the Dealer has with this program is the assistance that is provided on the back end of the project with rebate and incentive capture. This piece exists wholly for the Dealer to help recoup the costs associated with switching over to LED. There are incentives for both the New build and the Retrofit. It is complicated and in some instances if submitted incorrectly there isn’t a second chance to recoup the costs. There is more provided than just an estimate of the incentive based on published
